About to create this list through perseverance and dedication.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I intend to finish the st. george marathon this year with a few local races prior.  Next year I intend to compete in St. George second annual ultramarathon of 50k and the STG marathon again.

Long-Term Running Goals:

A fifty mile run would be ideal for a long-term goal.  I want to see how far I can push my body and mind.  I heard that one's perspective about life changes on such endeavors.  I am looking forward to such an accomplishment. 

Personal:

I attend Dixie State College, work full time out in kayenta, and I have never run a marathon.  I was on the Snow Canyon track team years ago doing sprints, but always secretly wanted to do cross country.  I didn't think I had the endurance in me but now I am creating it.  I am running towards my goals by running.

I took a week and a half off thinking my knee would get better but it did not.  I am hoping it is the shoes. I will get some new ones and see if that helps.  It is frustrating I can go the distance with my lung capacity, muscles and mind but the joint is holding me back. I think I will get a pool membership to keep my physical level up.
