Ok it's now or never to train for the marathon. So I took over a month off of running to let my knee heal. (I know, a risky choice). I have been working my legs at the gym, I have been cross training by biking and swimming. I bike almost everywhere now and I swim 3 times a week. I have been even taking pills to help keep joints in good condition. I started running again hoping my knee will be smooth. What happened??? My knee was in just as bad shape. It was hurting again after three miles. how can I possible run 26 miles if I can barely run 3 without pain? I will not give up! I will find a way. |
