Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

About to create this list through perseverance and dedication.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I intend to finish the st. george marathon this year with a few local races prior.  Next year I intend to compete in St. George second annual ultramarathon of 50k and the STG marathon again.

Long-Term Running Goals:

A fifty mile run would be ideal for a long-term goal.  I want to see how far I can push my body and mind.  I heard that one's perspective about life changes on such endeavors.  I am looking forward to such an accomplishment.

Personal:

I attend Dixie State College, work full time out in kayenta, and I have never run a marathon.  I was on the Snow Canyon track team years ago doing sprints, but always secretly wanted to do cross country.  I didn't think I had the endurance in me but now I am creating it.  I am running towards my goals by running.

I did it!! This is great I am back on the the road. I got another brace for my other knee and I was pain free the whole time.  The only problem I faced was side stitches, but that is temporary. I feel great that I can do it.  I will get a decent time!

Hope that knee behaves. Glad you found help with the brace. Are you a heel striker? If so, you might want to try tweaking your stride by using Chi Running or the method in Thomas Miller's book: Programmed to Run. Good luck.
